Democrats elect leaders for 2009-2010
The Wyoming Democratic
State Central Committee recently elected
longtime Teton County activist Leslie Petersen
(pictured right) as the party's new state
chair. Also elected at the committee's meeting
April 18 in Casper were Vice Chair Mike Bell of
Laramie County, Secretary Linda Barton of
Fremont County, and Treasurer Chuck Herz of
Teton County.
"I'm excited to be working with such a great Executive Committee as we help elect progressive leaders at all levels of government throughout Wyoming," Petersen said. "We need to work hard to make sure voters are aware of the many ways in which Democrats are fighting for the best interests of working families."
