About the candidate

Hello neighbor,

My name is Dave Hucke, and I’m running for the State Assembly in the 14^th District. This year is an important election year, and I believe that it’s time for change.

Even more important, it’s time for you, the voter, to be heard from and listened to.

When people work two jobs, and still are falling behind and not being able to make ends meet, it’s time for change.

When working citizens have to forgo healthcare, because their insurance won’t cover it, or they can’t afford it, it’s time for change.

When the price of gasoline, heating, food and many other necessities skyrocket because we are not energy independent, it’s time for change.

When our elected officials care more about ideological purity, or scoring partisan points, rather than working for solutions that help Wisconsin families, it’s time for change.

"I am for keeping good jobs in Wisconsin, and attracting new ones for the future"
"I am for making sure that taxes are levied fairly across the board"
"I am for protecting and preserving our Great Lakes and natural wilderness"
"I believe all citizens should have the freedom to pursue every opportunity for advancement, leading fulfilling lives, and that our government should provide the security for this to happen, by safeguarding our constitutional rights guaranteed by law."
