About the candidate
Alderman Orth outlined his 3 progressive goals for Wisconsin.
1. Healthcare Reform– Providing quality affordable healthcare for all, while reducing overall costs for business in Wisconsin
2. Education Reform – Reducing property taxes by changing the school funding formula and providing for an adequacy model to improve education
3. Progressive Environmentalism – Protecting our natural resources while investing in and developing the green economy for our future

Bio
Michael Orth was born and raised in Kenosha, is
a graduate
of Bradford High School and received degrees
in Political Science and History
from the University of Wisconsin –
Madison. He is married to Jammie
and is the father of Renata and Harry.
Michael worked in the computer
industry for 6 years prior to becoming a
teacher at Tremper High School where
he teaches AP U.S. Government and Politics and
World Issues. Michael was
elected to the Kenosha Common Council in 2008,
unseating an 18 year incumbent
by a 2 to 1 margin. For additional
