Our next scheduled business meeting will be Monday, September 8, at 6:00 PM
We have set our priorites for our local candidates as they will need help in the coming months as far as lit drops, phone banks, and mailings. Lindsey O'Grady is the Obama Field Organizer in our county as well as Pierce County.
We have the primary election coming up on September 9th, mark you calenders so you don't forget to vote. In the 29th Assembly district we have L. John Peters and Chris Buckel on the Democratic ticket to to see who goes up against John Murtha in November.
We now have Obama yard signs, bumper stickers, pins and other material. The yard signs are $5.00, bumper stickers are $3.00 and the pins are $2.00. The reason we have to charge for these items as we had to buy over $800.00 dollars worth, so please help us sell them so we can recoup our expenses. Thanks in advance.
We are going to need help manning the office, if you give us three or four hours of your time that would be great. Please contact our office at 231-2393, 2394 located at 643 So. Broadway. Hours are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. M - F, (Temporary) and 11 - 3 on Saturday.
If anyone is willing to bring a dish to pass at our meetings, please bring what you want. You don't have to make much as we don't want to waste any food. We will furnish the decaf coffee.
Hope to see as many of you as possible
