The Roosevelt Society

The Roosevelt Society is the financial sustaining organization for the Arlington County Democratic Committee.

The Roosevelt Society (TRS) was founded in 1982, the centennial of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s birth. Members of TRS pledge at least $10 per month to be paid monthly, semi-annually, quarterly or annually which goes to support the Arlington Democratic Party's headquarters and computer operations here in Arlington. In return, members of TRS receive a special pin, discounts to ACDC fundraisers, invitations to special TRS events, a subscription to the ACDC News and to a periodic newsletter, The Roosevelt Society News, focusing on issues and people of interest to Arlington Democrats. 

The Roosevelt Society has at least two “no-charge” events each year for its members and prospective members: an annual reception held sometime between January and March featuring an interesting speaker or program, and a summer picnic gathering. Occasionally special activities are planned.
