Arlington County Democratic Committee Contributions

Individual donations of time and money are the backbone of the Arlington Democratic Party.

And because we have elections every year in Arlington, the need is always great! We depend on individual donations – small, medium, or large – to help to elect Democrats year after year!

We believe that our “grass-root” donations of time and money have paid off in the strong showings our Democratic candidates have achieved in Arlington elections. Your financial support will help us increase voter participation, reach out to more Arlington residents about ACDC events and activities, mail literature in support of our candidates, just to name a few.

One important way the Arlington County Democratic Committee receives financial support is through its sustaining donors program called the Roosevelt Society. Any Democrat may join the Roosevelt Society by making an annual pledge that is paid monthly, annually, or in whatever payment method is most workable. The Roosevelt Society ongoing financial support to ACDC has made a real difference over the years in providing a predictable source of funding to operate our local headquarters and maintain our records of Arlington voters.

The Arlington Democratic Joint Campaign is formed every election cycle in order to elect  Democrats whose names will appear on the general election ballot in Arlington .The Joint Campaign is run by three co-chairs appointed by the ACDC Chair. Traditionally, one of the co-chairs is an Arlington County Elected Official. For 2007, ACDC Chair Peter Rousselot has appointed the following three Joint Campaign co-chairs: Arlington School Board member, Ed Fendley; ACDC Treasurer, Karla Hagan, and ACDC Precinct Captain and Area Chair, Amanda Brino. You can purchase tickets here for the fund raising events of the joint campaign.
