Local Democrats Open Washington

County Election Headquarters

ST. GEORGE.  Local Democrats are launching a comprehensive election campaign effort in 2008 by opening a Washington County campaign headquarters.  The campaign headquarters will feature the four local candidates seeking election in Washington County: Lin Alder, Washington County Commissioner; Brooks Pace, State Senate District 29; Terence Moore, State Representative in District 74; and Lyman Whitaker, State Representative in District 71.  

Cyril Noble, Washington County Democratic Chairman and Mike Small, President of Democrats of Southern Utah, jointly announced the September 6 opening of the unified  campaign headquarters located in Ancestor Square.

“Record numbers of voters in Washington County attended our fund raisers, our convention – and record numbers are registering to vote,” said Cyril Noble.  Noble and Small welcome all Washington County voters to get involved. “It’s our county and it’s up to us to step up and work for quality candidates and positive changes in any way we can.”

 The office grand opening on September 6, is a great opportunity to meet the candidates and campaign staff and fellow supporters. No experience is required, all are welcome. The Washington County unified campaign staff will provide all the support you need.
