Deseret Morning News and

Ogden Standard Examiner

recognize shift in Utah politics is underway

The November 21st issues of  the Deseret Morning News and Ogden Standard Examiner have columns about the shift underway in Utah politics.  These columns point to exit polling from the 2008 election and shifts in major metropolitan areas in Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico that preceded those states going blue in the 2008 election. Similar changes in voting patterns are now underway in Utah.

Nothing demonstrates Utah is becoming more friendly to Democrats as dramatically as Obama's win in Salt Lake County, Congressman Matheson's success throughout the vast majority of counties in his district, and Mayor Corroon's landslide reelection victory and other Democratic gains in Salt Lake County.

Please help us build on this year's momentum by making a donation today to the Utah Democratic Party.  Together we can make the change to Utah politics the Deseret Morning News, Odgen Standard Examiner and others believe is underway a reality.
