Tammy Baldwin at February Drinking Liberally
Due to an unexpectedly large crowd  anticipated for U.S. Senate candidate Tammy Baldwin at the Drinking Liberally event on Monday, Feb. 20, the event will move from Sprizzos in downtown Waukesha to Panos/Bullwinkles on 20290 W. Bluemound Road.  According to event sponsors Lisa Mux and Phil Scarr, this will be a dinner, drink and speeches sit-down meeting using Panos banquet room, where the Nelson-Proxmire Dinner has been held.  Contact Panos or the event sponsors for exact time.  
New Berlin Dems & Progressives Monthly Breakfast Meeting

WCD Chair Pas To Host Baldwin House and Birthday Party In Oconomowoc
Waukesha County Democrats Chairperson Dick Pas and his wife will host one of fifty 50th birthday house parties for Rep. Tammy Baldwin on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 4 - 6 p.m.  Baldwin will not be at the event in person but will speak to all the house parties house parties via conference phone call.  The event will be asking for contributions for Baldwin's U.S. Senate bid as she runs for the seat currently occupied by Herb Kohl.  Snacks and beverages will be supplied.  The event will take place at the Pas residence, 662 E. Juneau Ave., Oconomowoc.  For further information and directions call 262-567-7570.  Last year's Chairperson Victor Weers will be holding a similar house party in Brookfield. 
Food Pantries Still Need Donations

Times are tough.  With joblessness still rampant, the need for food donations remains at a high level.  Difficult times are a time for giving.  Waukesha County Food Pantries need all the assistance they can get, especially in winter.  In Waukesha the Food Pantry is at a new address, 1301 Sentry Drive. For donation times, other locations and items especially needed, the phone number to call In Waukesha is 262-542-5300 or go to the Food Pantry of Waukesha County website.

The Newell and Ann Meyer Nature Preserve In Eagle Open Year Round
The Newell and Ann Meyer Nature Preserve in Walworth and Waukesha counties is 374 acres of oak savanna and woodlands, wetlands and former agricultural land near Eagle, Wisconsin.  The preserve includes a major portion of the headwaters of the Mukwonago River.  The Nature Preserve is open year-round, dawn to dusk. The preserve is located at S104 W38319 Highway 67 in the Town of Eagle in Waukesha County.
