About Erie County's voting system

Erie County has not changed our voting system.  We are still voting paper ballots that are optically scanned.  You still blacken in an oval for the candidate of your choice or the oval for/against an issue.  The only difference in your voting is that after voting, you place the ballot in a scanner that reads it immediately and tabulates it.  If you undervoted or overvoted, the scanner will advise you and you can determine if you want to review your ballot to make any corrections/changes.

If you should have further questions, please contact the Erie County Board of Elections, 2900 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky; 419/627-7601; www.electionsonthe.net/oh/erie/ or e-mail at erie@sos.state.oh.us
