     TRIBUTES TO JUDY BURG

]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]
On Tuesday, December 12, 2006, Clermont County lost one of its best…
Judy Burg was one of our most devoted and reliable Democrats.  Unselfishly, Judy served the Party with a passion that is rarely found.
When Party Headquarters needed to be manned, Judy was there to unlock the door; when a mailing had to be dropped, Judy was there to stuff envelopes, seal them, apply the postage and drop the mailing off at the post office.  She was our longtime secretary and executive committee member.  Her collaboration with Charlotte and Pebble, establishing the legendary Lunch Bunch volunteers is credited with sustaining the Clermont County Democratic Party during a time when its future was in doubt.
In addition to health challenges, there was only one thing that could keep Judy away from a campaign rally, Party function or an executive committee session…and that was her family.  Her daughter and especially her beloved grandchildren were truly the center of her universe.
I know how much Judy loved her family and I know that she watches over them with the same pride and zeal she showed in life.  I am also confident that she continues to lobby hard for her Democratic ideals in her well-deserved place in heaven…
We can count on Judy to remember us…and we will always remember and miss her…

Judy was a passionate, funny, brave person. She was the Democrat’s secretary for several years.  She did all our computer work. She was a computer whiz. She also handled our Donkey Club Fundraiser.
She had a passion and for the Clermont Democrats. She was always ready to go to rallies and events for the Dems.
Judy had a fey Irish outlook on life.  She found humor in almost every situation. You could not be around her long until you were laughing.
She never let her arthritis slow her down.
We missed her since July, but hoped she would be back.  It was not to be…..
May the wind always be at your back Judy!

A true Democrat, great sense of humor, always willing to share and give of herself.  The Republic would be more secure if we had millions like her.  Even though inaugurations haven't yet happened, she did see Ohio turn blue and I'm sure that provided a measure of solace to her.

This is certainly sorrowing news.  Dana and I visited with Judy and it was amazing how bright and cheerful she was.  Judy was a devoted Democrat and a great supporter of Democratic philosophy.  Judy will be missed by many, I am but one.

She was a lovely lady, friend, mother, grandmother, co-worker, kidder, secretary, confidant, person, supporter, energizer, hugger, giver, volunteer, democrat.
There is a hole that may never be filled the same. But there are memories that will live on forever.
I am proud to have been touched by Judy and I hope that I can carry on a piece of what she shared with us all.
