SB5 Referendum Chapter 1:  Petition Signatures

To date there are 714,137 signatures collected for all of Ohio! SB5 will be on the November ballot.  As of June 25, the Clermont County Democratic Party Team collected nearly 2,500 signatures!  Words cannot express my gratitude to our team of petition circulators.  If you run into any of our awesome volunteers, please congratulate them on a job well done and be sure to thank them for their efforts to safeguard our future and the future of our children.

The Clermont Dems Petition Team Members are:
Bob Bullis, Christine Conover, Jim Constable, Vicky Dale, Charlotte Davidson, Genny Dennison, Larry Fisse, Karen Fisse, Pat French, Charlie Green, Nancy Haines, Pebble Humphries, Tom Jenkins, Marie Jenkins, Rich Jordan, Chris King, Gina Kiser, Bobbie Kuhn, Chris LaQuerre, Constance Lighthall, Megan McRae-Hastings, Joan Mell, Gerry Myers, Kay Newby, Marcia Oganowski, Tammy Patrice, Bob Plummer, Catherine Reed, Mary Sue Roberts, Jerry Slaughter, Bobbe Smith, Martha Solano, Steven Wells & Melissa Wilder

Special thanks go to the following people:  Bobbie Kuhn, Mary Sue Roberts and Martha Solano for stepping up in the coordination of this huge effort and to Marcia Oganowski for her continual contributions for hot spot locations, poster ideas and downloads and an OUTSTANDING percentage of our signatures gathered.  And a gold "tech" star goes to Tom Jenkins for turning us on to a dashboard site that made for easier and more efficient communication and tracking.

Our biggest event, Frontier days was a huge success.  Counting a combo of all teams (Clermont County Democratic Party, Miami Twp Firefighters, Cincinnati AFL-CIO and a little help from our good friends of the Warren County Democratic Party); we got 1,307 signatures at this event.

This week marks the end of our gathering signatures.  If you have not yet signed, your final opportunity is Wednesday, June 22, from 6 to 7 pm at our Batavia Headquarters.

Clermont County Fair/Parade    <back to top>

Something to put on the radar is the Clermont County Fair July 24-July 30th
We will need volunteers to walk in the parade on July 24th as well as staffing our booth throughout the fair.

We are working hard to make a difference in Clermont County.  As you know, even small items do not come cheap.  Newspaper ads, fair tickets for our volunteers, campaign posters, mailings, etc... all these costs add up.  Please consider a contribution to our party to help us off set these expenses and help us grow stronger and better.

Mail checks to the Clermont County Democratic Party, P.O. Box 475, Batavia, OH 45103
or you can make a secure on-line contribution at our web site.

If you wish to join our team of grass-roots volunteers or if you have any questions, please email ClermontDems@gmail.com or call 513-732-2378.

Thank you for all that you do,
