legislative initiatives of Governor Ted
Strickland at the 40th annual Golden
Donkey Dinner sponsored by the Clermont County
Democratic Party on Saturday, April
21st.
Book, a
Portsmouth
attorney is in his 3rd term in the
House and serves on the Civil and Commercial
Law, Financial Institutions, Real Estate and
Securities, Insurance and State Government and
Elections committees.
The Golden
Donkey Dinner is the Democratic Party’s major
annual fundraiser. In addition to speakers,
awards recognizing outstanding performance and
commitment will be presented.

year’s award winners included

Grass Roots
Award winners were Patti French, David Koon,
Marcia Oganowski, and Ken
Wright.
Party chairman
Dave Lane
also presented the Living
Legend Award to Ed Osborne who led the
Clermont County Democratic party in 1967 when
the Golden Donkey Dinner tradition was
started.
