Each state is
allocated as many electors as it has
Representatives and Senators in the United
States Congress.
Potential elector
candidates are nominated by their state
political parties in the months prior to
Election Day. The U.S. Constitution delegates
to each state the authority for nominating and
choosing its
electors.
Ohio has
18 Congressional Districts and
2 Senatorial
Districts.
On May
10th, at the Democratic Party State
Convention, Victoria
Wulsin was elected to the Electoral College
for the 2nd Congressional District.
Congratulations Vic! For the two
at large positions that fulfill the 2
Senatorial seats, Governor Ted Strickland and
Ohio Democratic Party Chairman, Chris Redfern
were elected.

intimate collaboration, teacher and learner. An
excellent teacher is one of the most powerful
tools in education.
