Montgomery Democrats Re-Elects Officers

The Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee, announces its re-election of officers for the December 2008-September 2010 term.  Officers elected by the unanimous vote of the Central Committee on December 9, 2009 are:

• Chair:                                   Karen Britto, Chevy Chase

• Vice Chair:                          Alan Banov, Kensington

• Secretary:                            Elliot Chabot, Aspen Hill

• Treasurer:                            Simon Atlas, Bethesda

• Assistant Secretary:           Marie Wallace, Silver Spring

• Assistant Treasurer:           Stephen H. Fisher, Rockville

Central Committee Members are elected for a four year term, at the Primary Gubernatorial election.

Officers are then elected by the Members for a two year term. An election for officers is held after the first two years to serve for the final two years.
