Our Organization

The Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee is the governing body of the Democratic Party in Montgomery County, Maryland.  A major component of the Party organization is the precinct chairs and vice chairs that are responsible for organizing and supporting election-related activities and the coordinators who oversee five or more precincts.   The Democratic Clubs also are a vital aspect of the Party and the overall structure works to elect Democrats at all levels of government.

Maryland Democratic Party

The Maryland Democratic Party plays a major role in electing local, state and federal candidates and is the governing body for the local Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee.

The Democratic National Committee

The Democratic National Committee is the governing body for the state parties and   promotes the election of Party candidates with both technical and financial support; and works with national, state, and local party organizations, elected officials, candidates, and constituencies to respond to the needs and views of the Democratic electorate and the nation.
