Gala 2009 a great success!

 

Thanks to all Democrats in the great state of Maryland for a record turnout at Maryland Democratic Party Gala 2009. Over 800 of you turned out to join in the celebration!

Governor O'Malley's Trip to Europe

To celebrate the 65th Anniversary of D-Day, Governor O'Malley joined world leaders in France as a guest of the 29th Infantry Division Association, which is honoring Maryland's role in historic landings.

 

Gov. O'Malley remained in Europe as part of the State Partnership Program, visiting France, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden and the Republic of Estonia. The State Partnership Program brings together U.S. states, their respective National Guard units and emerging democracies throughout the world. In Sweden, Governor O'Malley will focus on environmental issues by visiting bio and clean technology companies and touring an eco-friendly city.
