Canvasser

The Iowa Democratic Party is accepting applications for the part-time paid position of Canvasser. The Canvasser job description should include the following staff functions and is a temporary position from June 1 – August 15.

Contacting registered voters by canvassing door-to-door in assigned regions of Iowa
Recruiting volunteers in assigned counties
Assisting in campaign activities as assigned

Application Requirements

Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required
Computer skills required
Extensive travel within Iowa is required
U.S. citizenship desirable
Active voting status desirable
Reliable transportation required
