Fallon to Blitz 12 Counties on his ‘New Energy for Iowa Tour’
Friday, May 16, 2008
Friday, May 16, 2008 - On
Tuesday, May 20th, Ed Fallon will
hold events in all 12 counties in the Third
Congressional District on his ‘New Energy for
Iowa Tour.’ Fallon will spend half-hour
at each event to talk about those parts of his
agenda that will focus on revitalizing our
small towns and local neighborhoods.
Fallon says, “We need
incentives to support downtowns, Main Streets,
and locally-owned businesses that will stay in
Iowa. More than anything, government needs to
end the practice of doling our billions of
dollars in tax breaks and subsidies to big
business that often end up leaving Iowa. As a
Congressman, I pledge to work hard to make
rural economic development a
priority.”
