June 3, 2008--Leonard Boswell has served in Congress for nearly a dozen years after another dozen of service at the Iowa statehouse. Ed Fallon hopes to put an end to that in today's Democratic primary in central Iowa.
It's the only battle in the state where a sitting congressman has to beat a challenger first. In this race, the two men chose different weapons to find victory.
Ed Fallon hoped to catch your ear Monday on the radio. He sat in live on the "Mac's World" talk show on 98.3 FM and called for change in Washington. "That's benefiting those at the top while the rest of us struggle more and more with gas prices, with health care costs, with an economy that is stagnant and leaving many more behind," Fallon said.
Leonard Boswell hopes you want to change Washington, but not change him. He did no public appearances, but he filled TV sets all day long with his ads to say he's a real Democrat.
